It would be difficult to find anyone in San Antonio or the surrounding communities who has not heard about the now approved Project Marvel, a large-scale redevelopment of downtown anchored by a new arena for the San Antonio Spurs. While early conversations brought some resistance, the approval of Propositions A and B by more than 55% of Bexar County voters reflects strong support for the vision ahead.

With an estimated investment approaching $4 billion, this initiative has the potential to reshape the identity, function, and overall energy of downtown San Antonio. Spanning more than 60 acres, the development is expected to include a new Spurs arena, major upgrades to the Alamodome and Henry B. González Convention Center, a new hotel, restoration of the historic federal courthouse, and critical infrastructure improvements.
